The Zwift Wanderer by Nicholas Gyde

Having wandered around Zwift as an independent I stumbled upon ZZRC.

The ride was friendly and supportive and no one was left behind.

This ethos is carried forward into ZZRC TTT and WTRL racing

I started out as a sweep for ZZRC and saw they had TTT teams and as TT and road racing outside has almost dried up in my area I was tempted but wondered am I good enough???

I hovered over the join button for a bit but eventually pressed it and nervously awaited the first race!

But the ZZRC team put everything in place for me along with the best equipment to use and put me at ease.

The 10 sec countdown began and I was in the pen with my new found teammates.

I was hoping I would get round and not disappoint my teammates!

Everyone was so supportive and friendly and assured me that I was doing really well and we won’t leave you alone floundering out the back.

I haven’t looked back since that first race and we still ride together as one and finish as one.

Comradeship and encouraging every rider to be the best they can be.

ZZRC have great organisational support for the racing teams and all you have to do is press the join button and ZZRC will do the rest!

There is no pressure to be on the start line every week as it’s entirely up to you when you want to race but beware because as you cross the finish line in your first race you will be hooked and pressing the race pass button every week may become compulsive and addictive.

ZZRC have teams for everyone from new riders to the flyers it’s all there with support and encouragement by the bucket full.

You can move from team to team as your form allows. It’s not set in stone where you have to ride.. not feeling the love, returning from injury or feeling stronger and looking for more of a challenge you just move up or down a team.

But the biggest factor is enjoyment and fun for all.

So don’t hover over the button just press it and ZZRC will do the rest.
